The Animikiig Training Program is a development writing program for emerging Indigenous playwrights. The program is dedicated to working with a group of 10 playwrights over 2 years- spanning 9 months out of each year. The group meets 3 times a month, during the evening. Each session runs approximately 3 hours in length. In addition the playwrights have one-on-one dramaturgy hours with one of the program facilitators each month. The group meetings happen the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Monday of each month.
