The Resident Piano
There is a piano between the front doors of Daniels Spectrum (at 585 Dundas Street East). This piano is there to be played, and is regularly tuned. Please enjoy the music being made by those who practice informally on this piano, and come add your tunes to our musical atmosphere.
Good Neighbour Guidelines
Daniels Spectrum contains a mix of public and private spaces. We ask that all visitors respect the needs of everyone in the building, including organisational staff members and visitors.
Making use of the free pianos? You’re welcome to play the piano but we ask that everyone share these resources fairly. Enjoying the Artscape Lounge on the main floor? Help us make sure this remains a friendly, community space. We expect that this space will sometimes be lively, but anyone displaying disruptive behaviour may be asked to adjust their volume or actions by an Artscape staff member.
If you witness inappropriate conduct anywhere at Daniels Spectrum, please contact our building management.
Logo Guidelines
If you or your organization has received support from Artscape at Daniels Spectrum in the form of a sponsorship, subsidized space or other means, we request that you kindly include an acknowledgement in your printed and digital communications and marketing materials, where space allows. Size and positioning is of course based on your visual standards and the relative value of our contribution.
Placement of the Artscape logo on its own is acceptable for most forms of recognition. When using our logo, please respect our guidelines:
- Use logo files strictly as provided
- Do not alter, add to, distort or change the colour(s) of the Artscape logo
- Do not reduce to smaller than one inch in width
- Ensure placement maximizes legibility; do not crowd
- Do not add words (ex. tagline, website URL) to the graphic—contact us if you need anything extra
