The 2017 Retreat “Black Excellence: Celebrating Our Accomplishments in Canada’s Heritage”continues the tradition of providing insight, inspiration and affirmation to black professional women. Featuring professionally accredited panels; special guests and our celebrated Caribbean lunch, the Sistahs-in-Law Retreat is a must-attend for those in the know!

Do you have to be a lawyer, or black, or female to attend the event?

Although the event is tailored to the needs and celebration of black professional women, all are welcome to attend!

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No ID requirements or age limits.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Daniels Spectum is very accessible byTTC, bike or car.

What is the refund policy?

All purchases are final and payment in full is required at the time of registration, unless utilizing a payment plan. In order for us to bring you continued value, we cannot provide refunds. This is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven, self-funded, safe-space and fundraising endeavour done out of love by a collective of awesome black women … in the City of Toronto. All proceeds go to Dalhousie University Law School Judge Corrine Sparks Award which supports students whose personal and academic endeavours most accurately reflect Judge Sparks’ spirit of leadership and community service.
