5th Annual Ada Slaight Youth Arts Mentorship Program Collaborative Showcase

The Ada Slaight Youth Arts Mentorship Program is holding its 5th annual collaborative showcase entitled Identified at Daniels Spectrum on Wednesday, May 31st at 6pm. This event features original works in a variety of disciplines including, spoken word, music, fashion, photography, visual and culinary arts from a lineup of young, emerging artists from Regent Park and the surrounding area.
The entire community is invited to this free event. Come celebrate the talent in Regent Park and the achievements of our participants: Aphiraa Nirmalarajah, Anne Vo, Dawet Solomon, Delina Estifanos, Kidus Yoseph, Matthew Worku, Saffron Francis, Saron Ogabu, Yonatan Fasil and Zaki Tsihirai. In the last five months, these young creatives worked with some of the best artists in the city including, Bryan Brock Charlie Lindsay, Kamillah Apong, Tara Muldoon, Wade Hudson, Yasin Osman, Zahra Siddiqui, as well as talented mentors from their chosen artistic fields, and now they are presenting their work and artistic growth to the world.
Keeping with tradition, the showcase will be held in Ada Slaight Hall at Daniels Spectrum and hosted by the wonderfully talented Zaki Tshirai. We promise you an evening of amazing artistic talent and community.
