AWA Festival

Experience a celebration of African cultural heritage through African female artists who will enchant the Toronto audience with music, dance, theater, film, visual arts, workshops, & a seminar on attitudes and expectations of African female artists in Canada.

Featuring African women artist Icons of the Year Thembi Nyandeni & Todd Twala, Creators and produces of UMOJA, and performances by Sonia Aimy Oduwa, Fatouma Nakruma, Marci T House, Evelyn Mukewedeya, Virgillia Ashton, Justin Gougoua, Fummi Olmumade, Tsingory Dance and Music of Madagascar & more top African female artists and performers. 

There will also be a multitude of vendors displaying Africa arts, crafts, textiles food and more.
