Building Community Capital in Canada

May 15, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

FREE

The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community focuses on transforming lives through engaging, educating and empowering people. Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, the organization excels in bringing the right people together to create long-term, practical solutions to meet the challenges of global urbanisation and climate change.

The Prince’s Foundation, in partnership with Prince’s Charities Canada, is expanding its activities to Canada and is working with industry, government and civil society to make land development projects that are both profitable and liveable by investing in quality urbanism and community capital.

A moderated public lecture will engage the broader community in learning about the philosophy and activities of the Foundation and its President, HRH The Prince of Wales. It will include a keynote lecture on “Sustainable Urbanism in an age of globalization and climate change”, as well as a short film about the Foundation and dialogue with the audience.
