The classic American play by Jerome Kilty about the illicit love affair between George Bernard Shaw and actress Mrs Patrick Campbell. Starring Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah.
Adapted from the correspondence between famed playwright George Bernard Shaw and stage actress Mrs Patrick Campbell, Dear Liar weaves together 40 years of passionate love letters to tell the story of their deep mutual admiration and love. Covering the years from 1895 to 1939, their letters give a straightforward narration to both the intense relationship between the lovers (who were both married to other people!) and the significant events unfolding around them, from World Wars I and II to the end of the Edwardian Era.
