Gomo George: Vision and Dreams in Paradise Opening Reception

Visions and Dreams in Paradise is a fifteen-year retrospective of works on paper by artist Gomo George. The work presented reflects the artist’s concerns, beliefs and aspirations and his experience of settlement in a new society., Images of family, friends, clippings from newspapers and magazines all combine as the artist creates new cosmologies that reflect on black life in Canada as well as living engagement within diverse socio/cultural spaces.

Vision and Dreams in Paradise runs from April 1 to April 30, with an opening reception on April 10 from 6pm to 9pm.
