Ontario Black History Society’s 35th Anniversary Celebration

Join the Board of Directors, OBHS members and community guests as they celebrate 35 years of service in the community. Enjoy a program of celebration, entertainment and reflection.

Hosted by Nikki Clarke and featuring keynote speaker Gervan Fearon, Dean of Ryerson University’s Chang School of Continuing Education. Enjoy live performances, a fashion show and works by local artisans in the marketplace.

About OBHS

Founded in 1978, the Ontario Black History Society (OBHS), is the organization in Canada that is at the forefront in the celebration of Black history and heritage with a demonstrated record in the study, preservation and promotion of Black history in Ontario. The OBHS is also the only Ontario Provincial Heritage Organization of the Ministry of Culture devoted to Black history and heritage.
