After coming together on their first collaborative project ‘Fabrik’ (a vintage trailer pop-up) and later with the Tuck Shop (a converted chicken coop store), Alex Fida, Kyle Topping and Chrissy Poitras are excited to bring ‘Perspective’ to the Toronto Design Offsite Festival.

‘Prospective’ combines each artist’s passion for land, place, and exploration. Alex, Kyle, and Chrissy have created an environment within the walls of a canvas prospectors tent, uniting interior design, printmaking, and painting. Drawing on aesthetic qualities of a bygone era, and referencing museum-like display, visitors are invited to explore and enjoy the works of each artist. ‘Prospective’ is an installation where design and fine art come together in a multidisciplinary experience, tying together the vintage qualities found in Alex’s interior design and the contemporary fine art pieces of Kyle and Chrissy. Resting somewhere between gallery installation and modern retail, the exhibition addresses design perspectives, lifestyle, and artifact.
