Pumpkin Pie: Community Film & Forum

January 18, 2013 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

FREE

Pumpkin Pie is a short film created by youth from St. James Town and Regent Park who were asking themselves questions like ‘what does striving for excellence really mean, especially at school?’ and ‘how do we develop an attitude of cooperation when we are surrounded by competition?’

This film is the story of Rahul and Nirmalan, two 13-year olds living in St. James Town. The script grew out of true stories, and the collaborative process of writing, production and post-production we undertook throughout the Fall.

Everyone is welcome, especially young people and families.
