Radio Regent’s The Jam

Regent Park Focus’s Radio Regent hosts an inclusive community event each month called “The Jam” (previously Last Fridays).
“The Jam” is an evening of music, story-telling, dance, poetry, and entertainment provided by talented artists and musicians based in Regent Park and the GTA. The Jam is recorded each month for later broadcast on Radio Regent (www.radioregent.com), an internet radio station of the Regent Park Focus Youth Media Arts Centre.
Starting from humble beginnings in 2003, the event now benefits from the support of Daniels Corporation, Artscape, Toronto Community Housing (TCH), Toronto Arts Council and Ontario Arts Council.
All guests attend free of charge.

Established in 1990 Regent Park Focus Youth Media Arts Centre (Regent Park Focus) is a not-for-profit New Media, Radio and Television Arts Broadcast Centre that uses community arts and participatory media practices to address local needs and development priorities.
