The Chase Project Presents: “MORE LIFE”

I have been blessed, on July 18th I received an email of acceptance into the Scholarship Program at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
I would like to celebrate this opportunity with the community and share my last moments in Toronto with people who inspire me; the multicultural, rich and active artists that contribute in the 6. This show is using inspiration from Drake, his recently accredited album “More Life” has put Toronto on the map, it didn’t start there but, his contribution to Toronto Culture has been an inspiring experience to listen and dance to, for me and the community. I want to pay homage to the city; the experiences it has provided for me, the spiritual comfort this album offered me after my mothers passing and to commemorate my next step in this journey, as a woman and artist.

This fundraiser is a dedication/celebration of “More Life” to my mother, Debra, who passed away January 26 2017. Debra made my education at the Ailey School possible, my angel.
