Desk Exchange Community Animator (or DECA) is a work-exchange program for individuals that trades time for space. DECAs are knowledgeable about CSI members and organizations within the community and they facilitate a positive atmosphere for both members and visitors. In return, they receive the benefits of a CSI membership. It is an incredible opportunity for social entrepreneurs and innovators in need of workspace and anyone wanting to learn about social innovation and opens many doors professionally and personally. Many past DECAs have gone on to starting their own companies or have joined organizations working out of CSI.
