Centennial College Performing Arts Commons

Home to the Performing Arts programs of Centennial College

The Performing Arts programs of Centennial College provide a unique emphasis on popular and commercial entertainment. We are committed to nurturing artist-driven entrepreneurship, and our focus on inclusion and social justice distinguishes us among Ontario’s post-secondary institutions. Centennial’s Signature Learning Experience (SLE) imparts an understanding of diversity, equity and social justice issues, and gives students cultural competencies that prepare them for a changing world. Our graduates are equipped to become the next generation of leaders in the dynamic performing arts sector.

As Ontario’s first public college, Centennial recognizes learning, development, inspiration and innovation as our core business. All of the college’s programs promote experiential learning through laboratory instruction, industry placements and cooperative education. Centennial College has a history of community involvement, having delivered its HYPE program – Helping Youth Pursue Education – in the Malvern community of Scarborough since 2004. Likewise, Centennial is a fitting partner in supporting the Spectrum’s vision of social, civic and economic development in the Regent Park neighbourhood.
